I sold my home at the Blockbuster Auction!
Placing your home on the market highlights many emotions. The relationship between vendor and agent is crucial, here is my story...
From the initial market appraisal meeting and being taken through and well educated on the best sales strategy for my home, I was kept very well informed and updated, and found the campaign to be extremely professional and efficient. From the photography, floor plan and Home Book content, it all came together to reflect perfectly the home that I had lived in with my family.
The open homes were very well attended and I was kept well informed during the entire process - vendor meetings were conducted weekly and additional updates were provided throughout.
Naturally, at times I was uncertain; and a little stressed. Having your home "on show" and not knowing what the end result will be did give me anxious moments and a few sleepless nights. It is an emotional time for sure however, as the Auction Blockbuster night arrived I was confident that everything had been done to maintain buyer interest; which was likely to reflect in a good result.
The result was outstanding!

I wanted to write you this note in relation to Phil Kelly's handling of the sale of our property at 135 Bulli Road, Constitution Hill.
When we first met Phil at the property, and then at his office he recommended that the method of auction was likely to bring the best result for our home. We were at first uncomfortable with the method primarily because of a bad experience with another Sydney agency some years ago where they failed to bring about a result using this method.
After speaking with Phil at some length, it became apparent that with Phil's level of experience in the area, and belief in the process we felt comfortable proceeding down this path, in order to get the best result for our property.
Despite being located interstate during the marketing process, Phil kept us up to fate with regular written feedback reports from each buyer, as well as price indications and phone conversations.
Phil assured us that we were on track to achieve a good result on the day as we had a strong level of interest, and he believed that the auction would present us with a competitive opportunity to gain the best price.
We were delighted when we arrived at the property to see a large crowd, many of which had registered to bid. The hard work was certainly not over for Phil and his team though, as they worked tirelessly to draw the best result for us. It was clear that Phil had worked hard with the buyers before the auction pitting him in the best position to gain us the best result.
As Phil had indicated at the outset of the campaign, the sale price was largely affected by the level of competition on the day, and we achieved a sale price well above our expectation or market indications.
In conclusion Phil and his tam acted very professionally in all aspects of the sale. The property has been in the gamily for many years, and the dedication and skill certainly helped us to achieve the level of success that we did. I would be more than happy to recommend Phil Kelly and the Ray White Hills Group team to anyone wanting to achieve the best possible result in the sale of their property.
